This night I went to bed early, at 2 am, and got up in time without any trouble. Today and tomorrow I'm on a bike tour with friends, so this going to be a small test for my sleeping cycle.
Nap 1: During the trainride from 8 to 10:30 am I was so tired I had a really hard time not to fall asleep and yawened constantly. I guess it was a consequence of getting up in time and cutting out the extra 1.5 hrs I had the last three days. And trainrides are boring. At 12:15 pm we were at a beach at the baltic sea. Nice, warm weather and I took a nap on the sand. Totally messed up my timer, but woke up by myself after about the right time an dfelt great.
Nap 2: Biking all day was good and fun, but shortly before I went to bed I read three very annoying and upsetting emails. Although I thought I feed my mind of those thoughts, I wasn't sleeping well. I had the best conditions, however: dark, silent room, alona in a bed. I woke up after ten minutes, reset my alarm and tried to nap again, but this time a weird noise woke me up again. I remember having dreams in both short naps, so I guess I had at least some rest.
