Just been playing with this myself. I discovered gvfs-mount which apparently will mount without supplying the credentials in a file. It mounts the smb shares in ~/.gvfs
Still fiddling with it, but it looks promising.

Also, there is apparently a system within backintime to use 'callbacks' so you can put your commands in a file at ~/.config/backintime/user-callback

Still trying to figure this one out.

ich hab mich durchs webinterface geklickt und dann bei "internet-stoerung" irgendwann einen text absondern können.

im übrigen gab es eine lustige aktion von alice, bei der sich ein paar pr-mitarbeiter den fragen von leuten auf formspring.me gestellt haben. (auf twitter angekuendigt)

Ich habe heute auch mal bei Alice nachgefragt, Antwort:

Das HanseNet Netz ist heute schon IPv6-ready und routet bereits IPv6-Pakete. Parallel dazu wird IPv4 noch langfristig unterstützt. Wir haben die Marktanforderungen im Fokus und werden IPv6 als Service für alle Kunden zeitnah einführen.

Hmmm....
Ich habe mich ehrlich gesagt noch nicht besonders intensiv mit IPv6 beschäftigt. Aber da es mich interessiert, habe ich auf meiner Fritzbox mal IPv6 aktiviert und spontan eine IPv6 Adresse bekommen.
Ich war selbst platt....

Thanks Jan for this Info in such a short time - now I know what you meant with "HDA Tweaks".
But this is what I tried more than one time yet. So as you mentioned originally this seems not to be the solution - what a pity...

I added this line to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

options snd-hda-intel model=thinkpad

I also tried out a lot of different other settings with no measurable effect.

options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-6ch
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-6ch-dig
options snd-hda-intel enable=1 index=0 model=3stack-6choptions snd-hda-intel model=auto probe_mask=1

Hello Jan Girlich,

I've got the same problems. For me it's X-Plane and FlightGear...
I've tried all the descriped steps and still got the problem. So the "HDA Chipset Tweaks" would be of interest for me!

For your notice: I had to type sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stesind/stesind-alsa-21 instead of sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stesind-alsa-21.

I'd be very pleased if you could descripe your "HDA Tweaks" for me...

I tried that, too, but it didn't help me with any OpenAL programs. Tested with OpenArena and Warzone2100. You sure it works for you?
